About the speakers

Dr. Jenny Clegg is a researcher and author specialising in China and Asia Pacific affairs. Her book “China’s Global Strategy: Towards a Multipolar World” was published by Pluto Press in 2009. She is a longtime peace activist.

Keith Bennett is a researcher and consultant on China’s international relations as well as the co-editor of ‘Friends of Socialist China’ platform.

Tom Unterrainer is the Chair of the UK Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

Dr Zeno Leoni is a Lecturer in ‘Challenges to the International Order’ at the Defence Studies Department of King’s College London, based within the Joint Services and Staff College (JSCSC) of the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. He is also an affiliate to the Lau China Institute of King’s College London, where he is co-convenor of the same institute’s policy brief series named China in the World.
