In this free illustrated talk Professor Michael Wood OBE, BBC presenter, author, and SACU President, will follow the poet Du Fu’s journey around China – which took place in the midst of one of the worst wars in Chinese history – and explore why his poetry is still treasured by the Chinese people today.
