Chinese Cities Rediscovered: National Human Geography of China Book Launch

SACU members are invited by Guanghwa Bookshop to attend the book launch of this major new publishing project.

Throughout its 5000 years of civilization, China has always been a nation with a great diversity of natural geography and human cultures. Today, it is also one of the countries in the world that sees the most rapid urbanization process.

There is no better way to understand China than studying its cities in depth. Aiming to publish on 100 cities in its series, National Human Geography of China is a rare encyclopaedia that explores Chinese cities chronologically and multi-dimensionally: from nature to culture, from ecology to economy.

Guanghwa Bookshop sincerely invites SACU members to join them at the British Library, to appreciate the tradition and future of Chinese cities, to share ideas on sustainable growth, and to celebrate the increasingly strong cultural ties between China and the UK.

This book launch is jointly organized by the publisher Sinomaps Press and Guanghwa Bookshop, UK’s leading Chinese bookshop.
