Museum of London Docklands Celebrates Chinese New Year

Celebrate the Year of the Dog with this special family day. Learn how to ribbon dance, try your hand at traditional calligraphy, listen to traditional Chinese stories, watch a lion dance and much more. What better way to start the new year? Free drop-in.

Every year since opening in 2003, the museum has hosted a celebration at the museum to mark the Chinese New Year. This is in recognition of the Chinese community in the area, and the cultural significance of Limehouse to the area.
