The Year of the Dog!!
In London, the main event, with many accompanying activities, is the spectacular Parade on Sunday the 18th. London claims its celebration is the largest outside Asia.

Manchester will stage its biggest and best New Year celebration yet starting on Friday the 16th and culminating on Sunday the 18th with fireworks and the Dragon Parade.

Newcastle kicks off its celebration with a launch event on Friday 16th. The city’s biggest ever (and newly ‘crowdfunded’) parade starts in Chinatown on Stowell Street on the 18th.

In Liverpool, between the 16th and 18th, “a three-day celebration will take place across Liverpool’s Chinatown….that will tell the story of Liverpool’s incredible Chinese history and culture”.
