2024/25 SACU/Peking University Essay/Art Competition

2025 is the 60th Anniversary of SACU and so the aim of this year’s competition for senior school students is to encourage young people to explore the history of SACU through its digital archive database and other resources to produce a written essay or a piece of art. In the early nineteen-forties China was in desperate need, struggling to defend itself against the Japanese invaders. In Europe and North Africa, the allied war effort was on the back foot and there was little the UK could do to give practical support to its key ally, China.
