Joining SACU
The Society for Anglo-Chinese Understanding (SACU) is a voluntary, non-profit-making, people-to-people organisation that has been dedicated to promoting understanding and friendship between the peoples of the UK and China since our founding by Dr Joseph Needham of Cambridge University, and others, in 1965. SACU is a member-based organisation. We have no political affiliations and are open to all who subscribe to our aims.
We encourage people to join us so they can help promote understanding with friendship. At the same time you will benefit from the following:
- Exclusive events (many are open to everyone but some are members-only)
- China Eye, our well-regarded quarterly magazine, (either in pdf or paper format)
- Monthly eNewsletter with a listing of current cultural and social events and topical information
- Friendship with many people who share your desire to promote deeper understanding between the peoples of the UK and China
We process our memberships using Membermojo, where you can join and manage your subscription payments.
Current members can also renew and review their membership here.
